So the space is officially gone, it broke my heart.
Party went well, biggest turn out so far. It was exhausting and my feet felt like nubs on the bottom of my legs at the end of the day but at least it is done until next year. Was very good at avoiding short, fat, bald, egotistical, male chauvinistic pig for most of the day, well that is AFTER he showed up 2 HOURS EARLY and I had to tell him to go away we did not have time to entertain him and still had too much to do and he was in the way. That was fun! We took our staff photo and he showed back up in the process and insisted on getting in on a shot. I will post that as soon as I upload the pics so you all can see.
Plans today were to go Christmas shopping and decorate. Let's just say that did not go accordingly due to Hubby and his ADD. Well that and the fact that we went to purchase the tile and countertops for our bathroom because he promised me we could finish our bedroom for Christmas. You know those concrete floors are getting old... Anyhoo, after his sticker shock at Lowe's we had to come back home so he could revive himself. That was all we got done...
Did get the tree up, not decorated but up and the lights working. Don't know when that will get finished. Maybe tomorrow I'll have more luck...
And so it begins

Haha, at first I thought you meant the Spaces shutdown party or Space going away party! Then I remembered you had your office party! Silly me! Yeah, I gave up on Spaces also! I could barely find my space anymore, it was a little crazy. Hoping I like this place better...
Yeah.. it's almost painful to walk away from Spaces!! I hate it that they screwed it up so badly.. Oh, well.. You'll have to fix my link in the sidebar!!Probably more than just me! Glad you survived your party.. you need a foot massage.. any chance you'll get one??lol

well i HATE spaces...so welcome here for good... :) i want to see your tree- i'm lighting up my fake one every day all day so that it burns out and i can buy a real one again and i can bitch about how real ones suck all over again :)

My tree was UP for a whole week with lights only - I think I coulda just left it like that and been happy if not for the girls BEGGING to finish it! Oh well, it is done now.
I'm sorry your space is gone, if it made you sad. Change is good though... just remember that.
Did you move any of your old stuff over? I still have great hope of doing that but... yeah, in my next life probably.
I was thinking maybe you had started to really like those concrete floors. They must be easy to clean?
I understand your comment about not knowing what to buy for girls. I have a boy...no girls...and he's so much easier to buy for than the nieces. He just wants electronics, any kind!
