Pride

Over at Jane!'s she asked an interesting question, "How do you feel today?"

Thought I'd share my comment because this is really how I am feeling today:

"PROUD. A part of history in action. Years down the road when people ask where I was I will remember this day along with countless others, including but not limited to, the end of the V war, Elvis' death, the Challenger exploding, 9-11 and now this, the first black President of the United States. PROUD."

Even if that meant I had to secretly watch as much as I could online while my assistant was my watchdog. I hope my dvr worked at home...

I streamed it and openly watched it at my desk. The whole organization was pumping the internet at an all-time high rate. If upper management has a problem with that, too bad, it's history.
So... when are you having the Bushes over for dinner?

I tried to watch the speech online, but it took too long since it stopped every two seconds to refresh. It was also pretty hard to follow then! You'll have to tell me all about it.

The crappy company I work for blocked all websites with live feeds (CNN, CSPAN, etc) so that we couldn't watch. Bleh!

I watched it because I was home with yet another eye inflammation. I wish him the best. He has a hard ow to hoe, no pun intended. I hope that he can do all the things that he promised the electorate.

Thanks for my comment! Haha! I was starting to wonder "is this thing on...?" Do you see how good I've been lately at posting! This is WAY easier than spaces, and after they made those changes, I was WAY lost!

I was the ONLY one to watch it at work. I was the ONLY one. I was appalled at my co-workers. I'm not going there here, but damn. It was an historic moment and I'm glad I got to see it. I wish I was there.

I made it, I made it! I even went back and read all your posts from the beginning. Of course now that I have done that, I have no time to comment. But just you know..I was here!
