JUST IN CASE...

Just in case some of you received an email from our President today and just in case you plan on tuning in tonight to listen to his press conference, I just wanted to set the record straight on one simple point.

In his email he states, "It will limit your own out of pocket costs and prevent your insurance company from dropping your coverage if you get too sick."

BY LAW, insurance companies CAN NOT drop your coverage if you get too sick.  Sadly, he does not know this law nor have his advisors educated him on this law, which makes this health care reform bill even scarier to me.

I probably will end up in jail because I was so enraged that the leader of our country was either not aware of this law OR just decided to blatantly lie to scare the American public, that I sent an email to him... So just in case you don't hear from me again...

PS - If you would like a copy of the letter please let me know and I will be happy to email it to you in it's full glory, typo and all...

Can you email me? I do want to read this. I cannot believe nor fathom why so many people are following everything he says, like sheep! He is not the messiah, people, take off the rose colored glasses before he has us beholden to countries like China!

I'd love to see the letter. Do you still have my e-mail addy?? The more I hear about this bill, the more frightened I become. Did you see good morning america?? There are no less than FOUR versions of the bill and they had copies of them. The stack of them all together was over three feet high!! Come on people!! If we don't tell our congressmen what we think, it's not gonna be pretty what they do to us!

Look, thank you for reading all of the bill and putting it in a way we can understand. I can hardly believe they might, once again, pass something like the bailout bill without any of them having really read it. I'm very aware of the difficulties of healthcare insurance--my mother has a good plan, but it does include the drug donut hole into which she will fall this month--same thing happened last year. Till the end of the year, her drugs will cost her about $400 a month. It's been an education, for sure.
